“Jason started coaching me for my first triathlon nearly 10 years ago and within the first year of racing I qualified for nationals and then the worlds team for USAT in Olympic distance triathlon. For the next few years Jason coached me to become the top Olympic distance triathlete in the NW and qualify for more worlds teams. After a couple years, I decided to move to long course triathlon where I also found nearly immediate success, qualifying for the IM 70.3 World Championship every year. Jason has been there with me every step of the way, believing that my best is yet to come and helping me break through my self-imposed barriers.
He is always quick to respond to everything from schedule changes to mechanical issues to last minute race nutrition strategies. Over the course of 10 years I have experienced many highs and lows, and Jason has always found a way to help me keep developing and growing as an athlete. Which is no small feet considering that even when I decide to change sports entirely, change careers, move, etc. he is always up for the challenge and I trust he will get me to my goals.
In 2018 he coached me to a short course USAT duathlon national championship and Cyclocross Washington State Championship.
This year my goal is to break 5 minutes in the mile and compete well at Cyclocross nationals – and I look forward to Jason’s coaching through it all!”
“Jason has provided me all the resources I need to compete at my highest potential. He is approachable, motivating, and values each of his athletes equally. With him, I have grown from chasing goals at a local level, to goals on the World Stage. Jason is a world class coach and has had success as a world class athlete. No matter what sport you’re in, he is a force to be reckoned with!”
